Volunteering
We are always in need of Volunteers:
Currently, we need 1 or 2 volunteers to start in September to assist with set-up, teaching, and pack-up on Mondays and or Tuesdays for our children’s typing class at the following times and locations:
This is a great way to gain experience working with children in a fun, educational setting. If you like working with children and need some experience, this would be a great opportunity for you. Third year + high school students are welcome to apply.
Mondays 12 week Typing Sessions for kids ages 6-12
Location: Lester B. Pearson Elementary School
520 Chesapeake Drive, Waterloo, ON N2K4G5 Waterloo
Time: 6:15 - 7:30 p.m.
(Need to be there 15 minutes prior to start time and 15 minutes after end time)
Class dates: September 21, 28, October 5, NO CLASS OCTOBER 12 (Thanksgiving), class resumes October 19, 26, November 2, 9, 16, 23, 30, December 7, 14, 2009
Day: Tuesdays 12 week sessions
Location: Abraham Erb Public School, (link this to address and Google map) 710 Laurelwood Dr. Waterloo, ON N2V 2V3 (location to be confirmed)
Session 1: 3:30 - 4:45 p.m.
Session 2: 5:00 - 6:15 p.m.
(Need to be there 15 minutes prior to start time and 15 minutes after end time)
Session 1 & 2 class dates: September 22, 29, October 6, 13, 20, 27, November 3, 10, 17, 24, December 1, 8, 2009
